CALLING ALL ATHLETES!!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to "Toss the hammer" or "Turn the Caber"?
Well here's your chance!

On Friday, May 25th (5:30 PM) Qualified Professional Instructors will host The Gathering of the Scots Sixth Annual HEAVYWEIGHT ATHLETICS SKILLS WORKSHOP at the festival grounds (Route#105, Baird's Memonial Campground, just south of Perth-Andover).

With both male and female divisions, instructors will give a "hands-on" workshop explaining many of the finer points needed to participate in such events as the Stone Putt, Hammer Throw, Weight for Distance, Weight for Height and the famous Caber Toss.

Wether you're a new-comer to the sport, or would just like to brush up on you skills, this is a great opportunity for everyone to get involved . . and you never know, you may even think about returning Saturday AM to compete in the Amateur competitions during the main event!!

Registration is limited so sign up early by contacting Dirk Bishop at athletes@gatheringofthescots.com.
