LOTS OF CABERS & HAMMERS TO FLY AT THE GATHERING!!

Scottish Athletics will be front and center again in 2007 at the Gathering of the Scots with one of the largest field of competitors ever seen in Maritime Canada! Over 70 "kilted" athletes will take part in the weekend’s activities including Friday's Athletic Skills Workshop and Saturday competitions in categories such as Junior, Open/Pro, Amateur, Female and the popular Children’s Lightweight events.
A very strong field of competitors in the Open/Pro division from NB, NS and as far away as Manitoba and the Eastern US will try to upset two-time Canadian Champion Greg Hadley who returns to defend his undefeated title at the Gathering of the Scots.
Organizers are very excited about the addition of a Female Division in 2007– the first of its kind in Atlantic Canada!!
