For many years, "Fly Casting Competitions" have been a tradtition at many festivals in the Highlands of Scotland. For the first time in 2007, visitors to the Gathering of the Scots will get the chance to test their skills in this time-honored sport of champions. Offering 2 divisions (youth and adult), competitors will try their luck at both the "single-handed fly accuracy" and "distance casting"events.
